David Davis has warned that there are “huge risks” in bombing Syria.
The Daily Mail, The Times and the Financial Times reported Mr Davis’ comments that “this will be interpreted around the Middle East in ways we can’t predict. I’m also not at all sure that it will improve the safety of British citizens.”

The Guardian reported Mr Davis’ concern that he could not see a “clear outcome” and was yet to be convinced about military action.
