David Davis MP encourages people to keep warm during the winter

“Haltemprice and Howden MP David Davis is encouraging people to take action to lower their energy bills and keep their home warm during the winter.

The advice from the Department of Energy and Climate Change encourages people to check if they could get a better deal on their energy bills, from either a different tariff or another supplier. They also offer guidance on what families can do to keep their home energy efficient.

Mr Davis said: “With household budgets under pressure, it is critical people check the Govern- ment guidance to ensure they make the most of the offers available to them.

“If you are born before July 5, 1952, you will be entitled to help through the Winter Fuel Payment.””
