David Davis meets Teacher of the Year in Parliament

“Haltemprice and Howden MP David Davis MP has congratulated Kimberly Hutton on her Teacher of the Year award, pictured. Mrs Hutton, a business studies, law and travel and tourism teacher at Sydney Smith School, Anlaby, visited Westminster to collect the prestigious Pearson Teaching Award.

Mr Davis said: “It was a great pleasure to meet such an inspiring and clearly dedicated teacher.

“Kimberly has achieved a wonderful accolade in being awarded Teacher of the Year for all her hard work with the children at Sydney Smith School. “Kimberly’s enthusiasm for her students and for her subjects shone through. It was clear that the acknowledgment of Secondary School Teacher of the Year is thoroughly deserved.

“I wish Kimberly the very best of luck in the UK finals later in the year.””
